Located in the South Western suburbs of Jakarta, Indonesia, AEON Mall's first development in Indonesia was a joint venture with COVA and real estate development firm, Sinarmas Land.
2013 - 2015
The first mall in the area, the complex is 100,000 square meters in size and contains 280 tenants including sub-anchor tenants of XXI cinemas, Celebrity Fitness, ACE Hardware, Starbucks and multiple food and retail stores. The mall also boasts over 2100 parking spaces.
COVA were chosen to deliver retail tenant fit-out management of the complex. However challenges arose in regards to the delivery program, with more than 85% retail tenants requiring the completion of all fit-outs and open for trade by the May 2015 opening date.
We overcame these challenges through our reliance on our fit out-management and project management expertise. Our professionals partnered with our clients and guided them through each step from initial briefing, contractor appointment and tenancy coordination to fit-out and trading.
